Leaf dragons are perhaps the least well known of the dragons, being quite small. They keep to themselves and mostly go about healing the damage done by larger creatures of the forest.

I created this dragon for a character illustration class as a cute little change from the standard fire breathing giants. I used matte painting elements for the leaves from plants in my garden and the rest was painted. Not sure quite how long it took as there was much iteration required.
